I was so saddened to learn of Dan's passing this morning. I will truly miss our phone conversations and his friendship.
I hadn't heard the news from Dan's family yet, but probably will. He and I had an agreement that both of our families would let the other one and the SABR office know, when either of us passed. So, now its just down to me, of the original 16 SABR Founding Members. I guess it had to be someone, but its a very sad day for me. I sure wish the other 15 were still around.
