I’m not a t206 guy, but I’ve always wondered why the ABs were, generally, more svelte than their t206 brethren. I’ve read the theories about pack size being a factor, but that never sat well with me.
Perhaps a more definitive answer exists?

As you noted, I like these "fatter" AB cards because the entire stylized frame design is usually perfectly centered on the backs of these cards. Here's another example of my "fatter" AB 350 frame T206's......  . .  TED Z T206 Reference .

My Doolan is not really a "fat" AB.....however, I do like that it's back is well centered.
