Man, I love stuff like that!! Awesome!! And it's always funny seeing how Topps once again used a reverse negative on Hank Aaron.

Noticed an ink stain on a 1972 Topps Roberto Clemente "In Action" card is actually a signature. PSA charges over $150+ to authenticate anything of Clemente so looking to hear any thoughts prior to submitting. I'd posted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago, but most people just messaged with offers to buy it rather than any information, so hoping this is a more appropriate place to get answers. And given that he died in 1972 -- generally wondering how many 1972 Topps cards he might have signed that are out there?

Not sure why the photos won't upload, but I placed them into a public dropbox folder so the links should work.

Hi Jason,

I am not clear on exactly what information you are looking for? Legit 1972 Clemente signed cards are uncommon - there are 5 regular issue (#309) 1972 authenticated by PSA and 3 copies of the card you have #310. One of the signed #309's sold in 2011 for about 7k - see below link.

Assuming you believe yours to be authentic (which I have no opinion on as I am no expert in his autograph), I think having it authenticated by PSA is a no brainer. If it comes back authentic and you want to sell it then I would think a high profile auction would be the way to go. If there is something else you wanted to know - just ask.

Howard
