Nice one!

Not a Clemente, but a 1958 Topps Vic Power from the Carter Collection...

Low grade and not special, but this card finally finishes my favorite Bowman set, the 1955's that I started in 1999 when I was 8 years old with my father. Last card for our low grade base set and the 326 card master set

Well done! And no worries about alterations or any attempts at conservation.

Nothing wrong with excellent+ cards, but I've found sharp corners give me no more joy than a poor grade card, so I'll leave the nice ones for the folks who care. Collecting on the cheap in low grade and being patient to get the big cards means I can tackle so many more sets than I would to build in EX-MT. Working on all the Bowmans and a full Topps 1951-1975 sets with variations. About 91% through the run now

I hear ya and agree more and more. Honestly, this is just fun for me. I am not trying to impress anyone, and having the sets in a binder is as good as it gets IMO.

Amen, just for fun. It's a great way to connect with the history of the game, and I have a ton of fun reassembling the sets my Dad put together as a child again with him. Whenever I finish a set, there's still the O Pee Chee or Venezuelans, variations and print defects galore to add to it. It's more fun to me not worrying much about value and just enjoying them how they were made to be enjoyed

You should start a thread. I would like to see some up close pics of your sets in binders.
