Very nice, DJ! You are catching up with me with respect to my Jennings back run. As you know, Davis & Jennings are in the same sets. But, I don't expect to ever see, much less own, a Croft's Candy of Jennings with the red back.

Nice DJ!

Val, I hope all is well. I will miss you at chantilly - I assume you are going, but unfortunately I am not. We need to get another trade-party/get together rolling. Maybe in he fall.

Ryan, I'm still breathing and kicking, so I guess all is good! Yes, I'll be at Chantilly. I hope you will put together another collector get together - if you arrange it when the fall Chantilly Show takes place, I think you'll get the best turnout - to entice you further, I'll even bring and show you what I obtained in trade for a certain T214 card!

Amazing stuff on here, guys. Congrats to all.

I read an article on SCD about this set and realized I didn't have one:

Default Oh Lord, Stuck in Lodi, again

N284 Buchner Gold Coin Jim Fogerty. Philly speedster who led the league in walks with 82, and had 102 steals in 1887. Series "A" back... The back that only talks about baseball subjects. More on this topic next week in my N284 thread update...

Adam - what article? I didn’t see it, but would love to, given my current pursuit of this set.

Edited to add: never mind, found it by googling (duh)

That's a very interesting Miller. Shame about the tear. Is there anything on the reverse?
