Two Day auction. Rube Marquard signed notecard and photo
I have had this along with the photo it accompanies.
Great note on how he signed Chief Meyers' name to an accompanying photo and their history as teammates. When I purchased this, I was told that later in life, Rube had signing issues and sometimes "switched hands" when he had arthritic pain. This is shown in the note. I have no doubt of the accuracy, and you can check samples of his different writing and signatures all over the internet, and authenticated. This is a Great piece with a 26.00 starting bid only. Any chance of you pairing the two pieces together? They really belong as a set. I’ll start off at $10 for the card or $25 if I can convince you to bundle them.
