Tom, very nice looking Clark's Bread card for the grade, and I feel that you got it at a good price.

Very nice Tom. We’ve seen a little group of these Clark’s bread cards pop up over the past couple months. I think that’s very misleading. These are tough and they’ll dry up and we will go a while without seeing too many.

Thanks Dave! I was excited to see that there was a Chicago Americans in that group of 7 or 8 that appeared recently, and I hoped that the owner would eventually make it available for sale. Now that I have it, it will be staying as a part of my White Sox type collection for a while.

Picked up this real picture postcard dated 12/9/1910.
The swastika on the uniform was a positive symbol back in 1910 with meanings including: ‘Well Being’, ‘Good Existence, and ‘Good Luck’. This young man's name was Raymond Garcia, and he played for the L.W. Blinn Lumber Company circa 1910. I wouldn't be surprised that Chief Meyers might have been someone he followed since he was from CA and also spoke Spanish. Patrick Last edited by Vintagecatcher; 06-08-2019 at 04:03 PM. |

Couple of cards from the long-term want list.
I don't usually go in for Authentic cards, but the eye appeal and cost savings on the e90-1 swayed me. That leaves more funds for the rest of the run (see below)... IMG_126.jpg09901.jpg CobbRun062019.jpg
