Thanks for the comments. I wasn't try to suggest I had the hope diamond :-) . I was really just chatting that this is different than I had ever seen before and a cool back story I never heard before. The ball does have the Ulysses Nardin name on a Rawlings ball which makes me think it is at least real. I used to be a OMLB purist. Still am. But honestly, I was just excited to get an RJ signature on a ball for $40 with a cool back story and was sharing the story with you all. Nothing more.

I have never heard of them. They make watches way outside my knowledge of super expensive watches. Nothing special to me except a spherical ball, RJ signature, a nifty back story and good price. 😀

Received it in the mail today. I totally missed that I won this from a fine watch company, not sports. It is a OLMB Rawlings. 100% leather. I googled Ulysee Nardin and it is definitely a super high end watch company - listing Michael Jordon and Jeff Bezos as patrons. Theses watches are world winning and very complex. Now that I have researched the company, I can see that Randy Johnson was lucky they would even choose him. (The watch is called "Big Unit". Came out in 2012 with only 100 and sold out). I love cool back story's like this.
Not the hope diamond. But, best $39.18 I spent this week. :-)
