Wow. I just found this out. Finished my Kaline Base run yesterday and was gonna submit next show. Now I will have a mix. SGC has made some killer changes lately. Ugh.

Man, those newly encased cards really look nice. I guess you got in on the tail end of the SGC auto authentication. Hope they will ultimately conduct in the future. Your collection of Kaline signed cards is just off the chart cool...

Mark: I dropped those off in Strongsville the last weekend in March right before SGC’s cut-off date. I am acquiring a few dups for the collection. A couple of the ones I just posted were OPC’s. How’s the Brooks Robinson collection coming along?

Didn’t even think about OPC when I saw your pic. You’re collection is awesome! Do you display your collection?

The Brooks signed run is coming along steadily, but I guess slowly. For the base run I still need his rookie card, ‘61 Topps and definitely need an upgrade on a few cards including the ‘78 Topps. I’ve also been picking up other signed playing days Brooks cards as well, but really haven’t actively searched for them nor currently going for them all. I’ve been trying to concentrate on the quality of the autograph more then when I first started the run. I’m definitely having fun with the search and enjoy viewing the cards.

It’s been a couple of months since I posted anything. Thanks to Whiteymet for the help in acquiring this 62 Post Canadian card of Kaline and I subsequently had Mr. Kaline sign it. I can’t believe I missed the picture of your finished Kaline regular issue run. Looks awesome by the way. You acquired them so FAST! I’m still slowly working on my Brooksie regular issue signed run. I’ve bought a couple that I need to upgrade as well (I should have been more patient). Are you going to go for more on the Kaline cards like you did Brooks?

I’m bummed about the SGC holders as well. I think the autograph cards look the best in those holders. Oh, well at least mine are a hodgepodge already.
