I think you made a great choice Scott. Congrats! Beautiful set and the first year I started collecting. I've been eyeballing this set for a while and would have pulled the trigger but made a few other purchases recently and opted out.

Sometime this week (as time permits), I'll be listing a high grade '74 Topps set. I haven't had a chance to look through it completely, but I have randomly spot checked a few. The commons appear to be Nm/Mt and the stars appear to be Ex/Mt+ to Nm/Mt, with most being NM.

Such a beautiful sight to see these cards in a bulk box! The colorful edges make it one of the most recognizable issues in history from a large count box! All I think about are jolly rancher flavors when seeing them
