Hello,
My name is David Brunelle and I am the owner of the HOF baseball collection that was posted by Richard Dwyer. I'm still searching for Deacon White and Bid McFee cards in any condition to complete my set. If anyone can recommend where/how I could possibly procure please let me know. BTW... being on camera was a bit nerve racking and I goofed when mentioning "1950 Topps" when doing the video ![]() Thanks |

Welcome David, this might be a place you'll enjoy. Bid McPhee is tough but not impossible, you'll have chances at his Old Judge cards. Deacon White is scarce unless you would consider N284 or Scrapps (Y95, more accurately referred to as 1888 H.D. Smith & Co Die-Cuts). Actually, if you consider cabinets in scope, there is a nice Deacon White Tomlinson in current REA.
Welcome!

I finally got around to watching the video and just wanted to say it's nice to see a passionate collector get some exposure like this, and what a cool collection!
Some of my favorite pieces were the non-card items, like the signed Ted Williams piece and the '69 Red Sox program that coincided with the moon landing. Very nice, Dave! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDg94nmS5rg |

I must agree with CW: It is nice to see a passionate collector... and what a cool collection! David, you did a great job! Had I been in your shoes, 1950 Topps would have been dead-on when compared with some of my zingers; which reminds me the 1948 Topps might be unfamiliar to a few on board: http://www.baseball-almanac.com/base...hp?s=1948top01
