That seller has a sales website. He has some very decent cards (lots of Cobbs, Wagners, Ruth), generally in low-middle grade. I know several of the cards on his site and I have emailed with him about a few cards (never struck a deal). I can’t/won’t comment on the card and holder - I agree the holder is impossible to see on that scan and his scans don’t generally look like that- but I think the seller is generally legit with generally legit cards. I think it’s likely an example of how inconsistent vintage, PSA graded cards can be, and this is a bad-misgrade.
All that said, if there is any ounce of doubt, pass on the card. Life is too short, and that is hardly an uncommon card - I bet you already have a/several better t205 Cobs already Last edited by Rhotchkiss; 03-12-2019 at 09:15 PM. |
