That original thread got up to 3 pages long. I have a bit of new additional information that may help or may muddy the waters. Here is a new group of movie star cards I picked up. These came in a "Screen Star Subjects" pack but they are not square cornered as was reported for the 1949 issues.

David

The rounded movie star cards depicted in your post were most likely left over cards that were originally in BOND BREAD packages (or meant to be in BOND BREAD packages).
Or perhaps these cards were at some later time inserted in the COLLECTORS & TRADERS SCREEN STAR SUBJECTS cardboard packs.

Do you have all 4 packs which contained the 48 movie star cards ?

You could be right Ted. I really don't know that these cards absolutely came in this folder, but that's the way they came when I bought them. I only have the one package that I bought from a dealer in Arizona.
