These are the original artwork for Z Silk cachets. John Zaso founded the company Historic Limited Editions and used these silk cachets for his covers. The cachets were not limited to baseball. There was a set of 40 done for the 40th Anniversary of WWII, Olympic and others. They appear to have been done from 1978 to 1997 with a vast majority of the covers being New York baseball related. The Reggie Jackson was done for a card show held in Brooklyn on October 28, 1984 which was the first card show he did in New York. It was also the day of the New York City Marathon. The Gaylord Perry was for the Manhattan Center Card Show held February 9, 1985. I do not know who the artist is and there was another artist for most of the other cachets.
