What do you mean by "socialism?" A soviet style communist takeover of the means of production, or a Nordic style mixed economy?

I would worry more about AI technology changing the way we do everything. Which could very well impact all of us in our lifetime.

If the super super rich have to pay taxes at anything close to the same rate they paid 50-60 years ago, I have no doubt that civilization as we know it will come to an end. Blood in the streets. Revolution. Cards will be the least of our problems.
