And I certainly wouldn't consign a vintage baseball card holy grail with someone who specialized in music memorabilia!!!!! To me the fishy nature of this whole thing is why it's on the bst...otherwise it'd be in a major auction house. Last edited by ullmandds; 02-20-2019 at 09:25 AM. |

here's his other sales thread that got him banned on blowout. was very vague about the lot then solicited people over PM to consign. I personally wouldn't buy from him.

Just wondering if anyone has called gottahaveit to see if this guy is legit? After reading this and the blowout forum - I would say that I wouldn’t put this guy in charge of selling anything... certainly not millions of dollars worth of memorabilia. Gottahaveit is currently hosting auctions and selling items for several hundred thousand dollars. I’m sure their sales people are highly knowledgeable professionals who have some experience. They certainly have the ability to sell this themselves and must have sports connections. If he works there they may want to know the reputation he is putting out there for the company.

I thought the credits ran on this s-show a week ago. That kid doesn’t know when to quit. Another post with rare multi thousand dollar cards which he may or may not own with no pics asking for a dm probably to be followed by offers to take items on consignment. He just doesn’t get it.

well seeing as the likelihood of the card selling is pretty much nil...no consignment fee to worry about...and i'm sure any of the big AH's would give you a piece of the action on a wags?

he did the same thing "I don't know how to post pictures lol" on here and on blowout. if you work for a consignor, you know how important pictures are help sell your item and to verify you have the item.
any 13 yr old can figure out how to post pictures on the internet, lame excuse. and don't try to sell a card worth over half a mil without researching how to do so professionally. I mean come on. not to mention, stories and values keep changing depending on how members challenge him on different details and aspects. Last edited by dictoresno; 02-20-2019 at 10:39 AM. |

And the responses on Blowout are all of the exact same tone as what he got here. There is the way a professional auction outfit would list something, and the way an ebay amateur would (on his Jordan lot) with all the "Unknown! Who knows what could be in this lot!" trying to get suckers to bite.
Smells nothing but fishy to me. If it is real then I feel sorry for whoever consigned a legit Wagner to that organization.

the Gretzky uncut sheet on listed on their facebook page is on ebay too but not on their website. ZERO seller feedback, only buyer. kinda strange an auction house related ebay seller hasn't sold anything at all. also would've figured that such a high profile item for sale like the Wagner, would've made some kind of press in the sports world....or at least be on the front page of their website. its just a small post on their instagram and facebook pages.

On the one hand he said the card was a consignment, on the other hand he implied his company owned it because he said early on the reason they hadn't marketed it recently was that it was great eye candy. Maybe I missed how these are consistent.

nothing he says is consistent. that's why blowout started ganging up on him. and every time they pointed something out, his stories changed to adapt. same thing he did here.

Am I the only one who noticed this card started out being "PSA 2" quality and then went to a 4 only a few hours later? At a minimum if that is believed to be an honest mistake, the person claiming that knows nothing about vintage cards.
