Very unique! Was Doc friendly when you met him? I was a fan of his in my younger years.

I've always found him to be a friendly signer... happy to chat and pose for photos.
That said, he does seem to have an inexplicable habit of smearing his just-signed signatures. Many years ago I had him sign my ticket from his no-hitter. His smeared thumbprint is in the inscription. I did not think it was intentional, but I have seen many similar examples since.
