highlander photos
I keep scuzzing this up, maybe I get it through this time.
The Doyle photo and the player leaping were taken at Macon, Georgia, in 1909. The other photos were taken in 1910 at the University of Georgia (Athens). Macon and Athens being the spring training bases of the Highlanders in '09 and '10. Stallings managed the team those two years. He was a native of Georgia and later trained the Boston Braves at his Georgia plantation, the Meadows. lumberjack
