Supply doesn't matter as much as demand, says the esoteric type card collector, from experience. Personally I still think Mick's '51 Bowman is undervalued relative to the common '52, which isn't his rookie.

Ted Williams and Willie Mays cards seem undervalued to me. Especially their rookies and Ted's 54 Bowman. T3 Turkey Reds seem undervalued to me. Beautiful cards, scarce, but compare the Cobb to a t206 Cobb Green. The big names should sell for more. The big question is whether undervalued cards or overvalued cards see a price correction? I doubt it. It seems that overvalued cards often create more demand and undervalued cards get left behind. |
