Greg, Love your Fantastic 4 of your Cobbs. Although technically low grade, they look fantastic and register exceptionally well for the grades!

Dan, wonderful pick up. Congrats. But why did PSA only give it a 1? Outside of the obvious caramel staining, I cant spot any creases, wrinkling or paper loss. The color, registration, centering are all great. Looks like a strong vg to me. Anyhow, regardless, it is a stupendous card. Still chasing mine

Thanks John! I don't understand the grade either. There is a light wrinkle on the reverse in the center (maybe a 1/4 inch?) that does not go through to the front (although it can be seen on the front jersey in certain light, including the pic I shared, due to the staining and the thinness of the card). Other than that its sharp all around sans the staining. At the end of the day it presents VG/EX, and I couldn't have afforded it even if it only graded PSA 2, so I guess I owe PSA a big fat thank you for the conservative technical grade.

WOW! It seems November was a great month and it still isnt over! This was my latest pick-up and by far my highest graded CJ of my collection. I was determined to complete a low grade set and on this night I had a few to many adult beverages at the point the auction was ending - just glad someone didn't have a higher bid as I was determined to get it in my inebriated state. $1,200 isnt to bad is it... lol

I got my first and only Novelty Cutlery PC today. The card is dated to 1907 for some reason even though this specific shot is believed to happen in fall of 1909 and pretty widely accepted as fact so I cant imagine these were produced in 1907. Also a couple more p/us from the fall I don't think I ever posted.
