A few years ago, I contemplated collecting the Brooklyn T205s (or Cardinals) and even created a master list. Stupidly, I threw it away. I can go back and recreate it. Is this a realistic goal? I am not even certain that I would go all in on the backs and might perhaps just be satisfied with an example of each player. Not really sure yet... I just have regained the hankering this week.

Is that Elberfield trimmed? The bat ear bottom corners worry me.

That is a cool looking card.
And to answer Scott's question above- I just recently acquired the Elberfield and once you said something I looked closer. I compared it to several other T205s I have and it is shorter than all of them. The seller had automatic refunds for 14 days so I am reluctantly (as I don't like to do that) returning it to the seller. I don't really want to knowingly buy a card with sharp corners that is a fair amount smaller than all (that I checked) the others I have. Better safe than sorry. Thanks again!! ps...I think the description, when I went back and read it, said some of these cards were in GAI holders before ![]()

Also, as Scott mentioned, the Elberfeld is trimmed unfortunately. The gold probably does not "roll" over the edges when you look at it under a loupe. Last edited by asoriano; 01-02-2019 at 01:48 PM. |

Finally picked up a Speaker not too long ago. Waited well over a year for the right example to surface.
