Here's an umbrella hat for the OP to protect from the "wrong section" rain.

This thread was left here to get more input from all members. Generally speaking it would go in the appropriate era section. But it's a good question for everyone. For me, I am not really an 80s collector.

I don't have many baseball cards I don't like.

Each is a product of its time, and represents that time.

Oh, and lets call things properly. It's a Brockabrella.

Is there a discussion forum for non-vintage cards here? The only thing I saw for '80s cards is a buy-sell-trade forum. Wouldn't mind seeing a proper discussion forum here because this is an intelligent site.

Appreciating 80's cards? I thought this was going to be a thread about the rise in value for cards from the 1980's.

First time back on in a while and no surprise, people complaining about sections instead of just enjoying the hobby...Glad I moved over to Twitter.

Come on over, we actually have fun over there...Cards From The Attic

I don't do twitter or FB although I have a rarely used FB account. IF you love them hop back over, it's all good. Just have fun. As for sections, all is good on that front too. Lots of our pre-war members like 1980s cards, apparently. All collecting is good if you are having fun and keeping it above board.
