A scan of the back of the card would help identify the set it is from.

The 'sliver' is from a very miscut 1962 Topps 'green tint' baseball card. It seemingly shows either another baseball card or possibly something else printed at the same time. Don't know. I don't believe it's a printer's mark or notation, as it looks 'designed.' I only posted the sliver itself, because I was hoping someone would immediately recognize what it was from. I guess it's important to note that on all images of 1962 uncut sheets found on-line, this card is not on the edge, it's towards the middle of the sheet and surrounded by cards on all sides. (That, of course, doesn't definitively prove none of these cards were situated at the edge of a sheet, mainly because little is truly known of the green tint printing process, but who knows.)

Looks like a common print spot(error) to me.

The back is nothing but light gray. No other colors or printing appears there.

So both the front and back are wood grain?

Whoops! I meant to say gray. The back is the standard light gray of 1962 backs, not woodgrain. (Guess I have woodgrain on the brain.) Previous post corrected.
