I guess I could see the other two, but that Wajo is sharp. Looks like they hit the stains pretty hard, because the cardboard looks like it could be a 5 on a good day (keeping in mind we are judging off a scan). I would have guessed a 4. Despite the two creases, I had the Donlin pegged at a 2. Nice cards anyway.

Those seem right to me? I've been submitting pre war to SGC monthy for a few years, there's a noticeable difference in expectations when you are just buying SGC cards from a variety of their grading years/history as opposed to regularly having cards graded. It gives you a better idea of what to expect. I'll bet there is some very small surface loss on the back of Wajo from coming out of a scrapbook.

I see your point...and I think you're right. I hardly ever submit cards to TPG'ers...so I have little experience...additionally I believe you are right about the WAJO...there appears to be surface loss on the back.

Based on the majority of responses though...it seems most on here don't have much of a clue about how TPG'ers grade...myself included.

I think Wags should have received a # as it's just worn...and had WAJO received any higher...I'd have been happy!!!!!

I thought that you would be lucky to get a 2 on Donlin, with those creases. But Ryan is right, all that matters is that Factory 8 overprint. Great card.

There are three experiences when submitting a card to a TPG:

1. The grade you hope to receive
2. The grade you received
3. The grade you wished you had received.

1 and 3 aren't always the same.
