Mlb authentication is when a rep from mlb has witnessed the signing. They issue a sticker and register it on website. So in this case in 2004 (maybe at HOF?) A MLB rep was at the signing. This year I bought a Topps authenticated Ohtani ball that had both Topps and MLB authentication. Topps authentication like MLB means someone from Topps watched player sign the item.
MLB also authenticates game used balls, Bats, uniforms, so their database is large but easy to use. Hope this helps.. |
