Back in the 90s it was an event. Those ads were a critical way to find cards.

Probably been over 15 years for me to.
Still have good memories of the old days though. I probably first started subscribing in the early 80's, before I was even a teenager. Some of those issues were over 200 pages, I believe. It was also one of the only ways to know what Baseball Card Shows were going on in the area. SCD must have had a ton of subscribers back then, because almost every show in the 80's was packed with dealers and attendees, no matter how small it was.
