Nice Darren! Was that on eBay recently? There was a miscut that I had been watching. Didn't pull the trigger, then it was gone. Anyway, great card.

Man, that is a cool looking McCarthy postcard. I think I’ve seen two varieties of these postcards of Roberto. Do you know how many McCarthy postcards there are of Clemente, or is it just the two?

I've only seen 2 versions, the other predates this one.

Day 240

1969 Topps Decal...

One of my favorite Topps insert sets from the 60s. I remember trading for these in junior high. On one occasion, a group of us were in the library trading cards and one kid threw a dozen or so of these on the table and asked "Anybody want this junk?". Hands were flying, but I was able to grab Reggie Jackson among others.

Here's the set...

And some dupes...

Have seen the 1965 Perfect Photo team pic before, but until I purchased these, I had never seen the 1964 or 1966 team photos.

Default Things that make you go hmmm.

Not sure which one(s) I have or have seen - have to start digging to check. I do not think I have seen all 3.

Nice photos! I just picked up an odd lot of Clemente stuff. The only reason I took a chance on it was the A Conversation with Roberto Clemente album. I was intrigued by it because it is platinum and in a protective wood case. Have you seen one of these before?
