Great stuff guys! That Aaron is beautiful. I'll check in with a bit of insanity at starting this set - always thought the backs on these looked better than the regular issue.

With this Yaz I thee put you to bed!!
The long national nightmare is over!!! With my fellow Long Islander, Yaz, in the house, I have now finally and officially completed my 1961 Topps set (cue the fireworks display, footage of people dancing in the streets chanting "USA!!!! USA!!!!," and all sorts of bikini babes shaking their moneymakers)...
1961yaz287.jpg ...what a long, strange cardboard trip it's been!!! I am freakin' psyched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Ugh...but now, of course, the process of upgrading the set begins in earnest. Stay tuned. In about 10 years or so, look forward to seeing a post celebrating how I've finally added the last card needed for my ever-so-slightly-improved set.)

Unbelievable
Picked up this Mantle in a group of about 200 1970’s commons at an estate sale yesterday. There was also a Minoso in the lot. 25.00.

Nice Joe, with estate sales you just never know unless you show up. Jolly congrats on the '61 set. For me, it was one of the more rewarding sets to put together.
