Old BVG grades were strict as hell. The issue was that the graders seemed to grade wear on the same plane as a modern pack fresh glossy card. You won't find any examples of BVG 4-5s that look like they were run over by a car like some PSA examples. I run BVG searches all the time.

In a need for some quick family finances I sold a 2.5 BVG red cobb on the BST a little more than a year ago that should have been an easy PSA 4 looking at the mess on eBay. Regret that one now as they of course jumped big right after, oh well.

Denny is a board member who puts capitalization in odd places throughout a sentence. You seem to be doing similar things.

Adrian is a former board member who made a bunch of posts and continually bumped threads. He also made a bunch of people on the Buy/Sell/Trade board angry by changing deals mid-way through or falling off the map, if I remember correctly.

The absolute opposite experience I’ve had with crossing BVG to PSA, but I’m genuinely happy (though surprised) to see your success.

Thanks! My father sent stuff in once to BVG to try them and cards that looked like 8s came back as 5s. Given these were older BVGs I thought they would at least cross evenly but was surprised to see how some really jumped. Was also very happy with my raw cards.

BVG or BGS?

I have had absolute zero luck crossing BGS to either PSA or SGC
