I need the Ryan RC but high numbers aren’t crazy like 67. I need a break from paying obscene amounts for high numbers.

Edit to say I’ll work on 54 as well. I have all the expensive cards except Aaron - Banks, Kaline, Williams x2, Jackie, Mays, etc. just have to wait on the Aaron.
Congratulations on the 63 set. Great to have a wife who is understanding about your interests.

Default 1952 Topps update

I have no delusions of ever completing this set, but I am having fun fill in what I can. I have certainly gotten much further then I thought.

Need all high numbers 311 - 407 (97 total - 31 needed)

Except: 313, 317, 318, 320, 322, 323, 324, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 336, 337, 339, 340, 341, 342, 344, 346, 347, 348, 349, 350, 351, 352, 353, 354, 355, 356, 359, 360, 361, 362, 363, 364, 365, 366, 367, 368, 371, 372, 374, 375, 379, 380, 381, 383, 385, 386, 387, 388, 389, 390, 391, 393, 395, 397, 398, 399, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406

(66 total)

(Poss. upgrades: 346 Spencer, 352 Drews)

Needed: 311, 312, 314, 315, 316, 319, 321, 325, 331, 332, 333, 334, 335, 338, 343, 345, 357, 358, 369, 370, 373, 376, 377, 378, 382, 384, 392, 394, 396, 400, 407

Not to mention I will always need Mays / Mantle for the 1951 Bowman set.

Default Down to 6 = Father’s Day Update

My wife “gets me” and my baseball card collection.
Today she gifted me with the remainder of the 1952 Topps set. (My version, like several others does not include the silly 52T high numbers)
The final five fifty two’s were pretty tough ones:
#1 Pafko, Spahn, Billy Martin, Bob Lemon, Rizzuto and tough Early Wynn!

So now I just need these 6 cards to finish 1952-1980:
  • 1963 Pete Rose (not a fan, and this is an ugly, expensive card)
  • 1966 Horace Clarke (silly hi number alert, I did not enjoy collecting these!)
  • 1966 Twins Team ( see above)
  • 1967 Norm Cash (hi number, but a pretty set)
  • 1967 Brooks Robinson (probably my next purchase, great card)
  • 1968 Nolan Ryan (waiting for low grade, decent eye appeal for this easy to find card)

It will be good to finish these last half dozen this year (maybe)
Thanks to Wifey!
