I used to see quite a few numbered singles that were clearly hand cut and unfortunately very sloppily. I have never seen a complete assembled box flattened or otherwise. I do believe all panels originated from and were cut from sheets.

Day 155

Mike posted one of these earlier in the thread. An eBay seller has listed a bunch of these over the last couple of months. Not one of the best he has offered, but some of the nicer images went higher than I wanted to go.

Day 156

This next item is one I was burned on in my earlier days collecting Roberto. I purchased it off eBay in the mid 90s, framed it myself, and had it in my collection for a few years before I realized the signature was no good. One day I was looking at some of my Clemente items and noticed that the facsimile signature on the 1971 Arco photo matched the signature on my signed piece. I kept it as a reminder to be more careful when purchasing RC signatures. Over the past 20-plus years, I feel as though I have become much more competent in determining authentic signatures.

Default VEry interesting

I got burned once on the item itself which was reprinted much later( smaller and darker than original)!! Likely a much less costly mistake than the signed one, but not a happy experience nonetheless.
