This is probably my favorite thread on n54...
Like that double fold Leon. Finished my set yesterday after basically 6 years of kicking the idea around and finally taking the plunge. I love the images on the cards as they just aren't used very often throughout the hobby. Some of the earlier photos used on cards and its the image used to make Cobbs CJ and a couple others. The Cobb/Wagner card's image is of them shaking hands prior to the 1909 WS that Wagner lost as Cobb never experienced a World Series win. This was my first card bought at the 2012 National and the first time I really had to explain to my wife about the money. Eventually I got to 21/25 and sat there for months. In the last 6 weeks though they just came to me. First a pm out of nowhere from a n54 member that says he has one and then the deal for the Plank...fukin Plank. Card 24 was from Kevin Struss in the Matty and then the WaJo yesterday in a nice person-person trade at a McDonalds that had a transistor blow up while we were there.

One for the hobby Historians
I've had this wonderful Real Photo Postcard of Engel Stadium in my collection for years, looks like they are either setting up or removing a boxing ring from the stadium. Anyway the card was sent from Wirt Gammons to Buck Barker, Wirt was looking for some Mother's Cookie Cards.
