PC796 1910 Sepia Collection

Great collection!

I don't believe anyone knows where they were produced and distributed. I've been trying to see if there is a link between whoever produced these and Novelty Cutlery of Canton, Ohio since they produced sets with the same images and players.

The Pittsburgh Carnival thing is really interesting.

Great PCs! I just posted a graded PC796 of Gabby Street (SGC 40) for sale in the BST if you want to try to catch Steve and complete the set!

Very nice cards Joe and congrats. My money is on Steve completing first as he has the Plank. Still, a very cool and tough set to collect.

I'd put my money on Steve as well....

Its a great set to collect, all of them use great images and together look awesome as Joe has found. Definitely a great way to go with your first PC set, 15 HOFers, another star card in Chase and nine commons including Gibson.

Mike's PC796 Plank was the final card I needed to complete the set. I had sat at 24 for several years. We cooked up a fun trade whereby he got a nice Old Mill cabinet and some attendant goodies and I received Gettysburg Eddie. Mike and Dianne are welcome anytime to visit. I couldn't imagine anything more pleasant than sharing a Dr Pepper with Mike in the Fortress of Solitude and talking deadball.

A Kawika sighting! I remember when you got your Speaker for card #24 and then sat and waited with JVB. I remember bugging you about info for the set and what was available.

Mike was also a big help to me, especially with the Speaker which I consider the second toughest of the set. Mike sent me a few others as well and scored 20% or so of the set in one swoop.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and information regarding the set. I was curious if any had completed the set with such low pop #s; Congrats to those that have or are close, it must have taken quite a lot of patience! I'm not a set builder, I mainly focusing on Cobb/HOFers so I would be willing to part with the Gibson or others 3 commons if anyone is interested. Thanks
