It is sad this exact same piece has been around for years I cringe when I see one in a sports bar. The blue auto black auto symmetry allows you to spot this a a fake from miles away. I am a novice Autograph collector who has always been a fan of 500 HR items and it sux to see so many frauds.
One way to avoid this is to put together modern cards that topps upper deck etc. Issued in packs of the 500 HR club. Except for first 3 Ruth Foxx Out, they are all easy to find. That said I completely understand that the display value of the lithograph and the ball are powerful draws. Problem is thieves understand it too. |
