Along the same wood line I have a friend who owns a high end cabinet shop. He gives me any wood at his cost I want and all the maple cutoffs I want. Can’t tell you how much curly maple I have for free but they make awesome cutting boards like this one below.

Drew, that is some very nice curly Maple. Very nice cutting board.

Very nice. Not to get into a cutting board thread but here is a similar one I just finished with a brick wall pattern. Walnut with maple “mortar” with some red padauk bricks thrown in for accents.
