But the duration of the conferences do seem shorter to me now than some years back.
The game just needs more pitchers like the late Don Rudolph, who once clocked a complete game in an hour and 32 minutes. Also, leaving during the 7th inning stretch shortens the game and helps beat the crowd leaving too. Although that strategy would have been a disaster when attending game 6 of the 2011 World Series.
