1405 feedback left, 1303 received. That's a pretty good ratio. I try to leave feedback on every single transaction, but I've probably missed a couple. Looking back at my first page of feedbacks, I bought a lot of beanie babies on eBay in 1998 and made $2,000 profit before the market tanked. ;-)
That and Victorian postcards I collected way back when. Right era, wrong paper collectible... d'oh!

I do when the seller has really low feedback, otherwise I rarely do anymore. Been on eBay so long that feedback was not even associated with a transaction and people would leave it for friends to make their # bigger. Anyone else remember those days.

I also don't care if anyone leaves it for me.

Do it every time unless some issue.

Actually kind of pisses me off that I've probably sold 20 cards in the last 2 year and have like 3 seller feedbacks. Nice to have an established track record.

I have posted feedback on every transaction I have ever done, but I find that I get feedback maybe two-thirds of the time. My feedback number is just under 300, but I've done many more deals than that. I don't understand not leaving feedback at all.

I almost always do and I leave honest feedback. If the shipping was slow or packaging was horrible, I mention it in positive feedback and deduct from stars. I leave negative when I have to.

I never leave feedback as a buyer or seller unless I am asked to.

I always leave feedback, as seller and buyer.

This is why I try to do it for someone who's new. If they seem open to things I'll even follow up privately with suggestions about improving packing etc. It usually goes over pretty well.

And, this just made me think..... What's your overall feedback? If someone has a decent number it hasn't connected to me that they might be a very occasional seller. So someone with say 1-3000 won't get that seller feedback. I may start checking.

Someone with a few thousand, really doesn't need yet another pat on the back for getting it right, that should be almost automatic by then.

I'm also really tolerant of the wide variety of packing, and the occasional delay, so if the packing isn't great or they take an extra couple days to get it shipped they don't get a negative. I can only think of a handful where I complained about someones packing or delays and fewer where it was worth giving a negative.

I got a $30 card in the mail a few days that was in so much tape and cardboard I thought he had accidentally sent me a Ruth rookie card. Needed the jaws of life to extricate it. Nearly qualified as a workout. Was comical if nothing else.

I Always leave feedback. No major reason, other than it seems the correct way to do it.

Never really thought about numbers, until reading this thread:

Given -- 6475
Received -- 4226

Right about 2/3rds ratio, which seems to be the standard ..........

if the transaction is solid, no reason not to leave it. Pretty simple.

I try to. It may not happen for a month, but I typically get around to it.

When I sell something...the buyer has to leave it first.
