Passing.
Same dude sold a similar card in November. Runner up there was same guy who “won” this and had supposedly some problem. Sounds to me like 100% unadultated prime BS. Had that happen to me once. When I looked at the bid history, the shilling was easy to spot. I offered the guy one increment over the last legitimate bid. He declined, saying that his ebay isn't a flea market. I would almost never accept a second chance offer that soon after the auction.

That card sold twice in a short period of time by the same seller.
First auction ended 28JAN18 ($750 was winning bid). https://www.ebay.com/itm/26345159840...p2471758.m4704 Same guy won it the second time around for $910. The guy is obviously full of shit. Why would he allow the same a-hole to bid on it if he couldn't pay for it the first time. Looks like you didn't bid on it the first time.
