Not a card but I will always miss my autographed Mickey Mantle litho I got in Memphis Tenn in 1989 while stationed at Blytheville AFB AR.. Traded if for comics years later that I was into at the time and swore I'd get another.. At least I have the memories of that day meeting him..

About 20 years ago I sold a 51 parkhurst hockey set out of desperation. Wish I had that set back.

Let’s see, last year I sold:
1915 cj ty cobb T206 Ty Cobb (both bats) and a red 33 zeenut dimaggio My Goudey babe ruth’s Oh yeah a 52 Topps mantle... As I got the bug back this year, I asked why did I sell as those would be cornerstones in my current smallish collection. Oh yes, a better school district. So I tell myself... could of kept them and sell one of my kids instead. Oh well I guess I made my choice and now I’m stuck with an extra kid. I decided not to collect doubles. Anyone want to trade?

I purchased a card from a woman on ebay twelve years ago and I sent
her a message to let her know that I had sent a money order. This is the message that she sent back to me. img020.jpg After having the card for over ten years I sold it last year. If it came up for sale again I would try to buy it back.

There have been many, but two still give me severe angst: 1. A beautiful exmt Goudey #144 Ruth with the Babe's signature in beautiful bold black ink splashed across it. When getting it authenticated, Jim Spence said it was one of the nicest autographs of Ruth he had ever seen, 2. A T206 Griffith PSA 7 with, yes, a Drum back. I suspect it must be the choicest Drum reverse out there. I often wonder what David Hunt would have paid for it.
