Congrats Eric. I know that feeling -- its great, but then only galvanizes the ones you still need!

And Luke is a major asset. He has helped me and so many others. Great stuff!

Those are some cool postcards, Glen.
That's Red Sox mainstay Hal Janvrin in the front row of the Camp Devens card. SABR bio confirms it: http://sabr.org/bioproj/person/80f3a62e BBRef shows a minor league team for Streator for the years 1912-1915 but a little googling yielded the info that the Reds were a popular town ball squad dating back to the 1890s and before. I cobbled together some excerpts from a city history, chronology a bit unclear, that gives a glimpse of their story. That's a fine looking postcard, a classical assemblage of ballplayers.

Default T206 goodness

The quality of people here on Net54 never ceases to amaze me. Just when you think you couldn't possibly have any more amazing dealings with folks, you do.

Two really enjoyable deals with two sage collectors here this past month. It's been a real pleasure getting to know them and chatting with them recently.
You couldn't hope for better people or cards. Here's to Net54.

Piedmont 150 Magee Portrait, Correct Spelling is a toughie — and this is a beautiful example. Well done!

Default E95 Cobb

Been looking for a nice copy for a while now. Always a plus when you can buy a card on sale off of a dealer website rather than on ebay.

Hey thanks! Much appreciated Steven! I am certainly open to other options. Have a nice T3 and a Felix Mendelsohn and a couple of postcards. Those would be rather tough issues that you mentioned! I need to start a thread with the run so far. Just takes a lot of time to get all the pics loaded.

There will be a '94 Betz at the next LOTG Auction

Edited to add: sorry, I consigned this one to REA, not LOTG! Couldn’t keep them straight with my consignments.

Oops, I meant REA, not LOTG. I kinda have the inside track on stuff like this...or rather, I know this because it’s my consignment! LOL!

Both should be excellent auctions happening shortly after I get my tax refund and meager bonus! Can’t wait!

Chris-Great pickup on that Deacon White Old Judge. If we were to redo the Old Judge book I’m pretty sure that we would list White as the toughest HOFer to find a card of.
