That Cole trade is a real head scratcher. You trade a young pitcher under control for 2 seasons for......what exactly? A midling old prospect, a bad relief pitcher, and Joe Musgrove, one of the most hittable pitchers in the league with a pathetic 83 ERA+ (17 percent below average).

If the Yankees were serious about trading for Cole its hard to imagine they put together a package of less talent than that.

They just traded McCutchen to..................for TBA apparently. LOL!




Beautiful park they play in to. Too bad they seem to have to blow up the team every few years.

Its just an endless cycle with them... the rich get richer and the poor have to play their cards right and get lucky once or twice every half century. McCutchen was Pittsburgh baseball, the return was minimal.
