Fun day at the mailbox with the arrival of 31 additions to my 1965 Philadelphia set! Many of these were commons, but I did get the Hornung and a really colorful checklist. I also included a couple of scans of Giants players. I am finding the Giants cards to be really eye-catching. I realize this isn't considered a "major" set, but I am as happy with this project as anything I have collected in quite a while. Considering that I have been really unfocused over the course of my collecting life, it is rewarding to get on a project and stick with it. This will be fun to finish.

Purchases from the recent Sterling Sports Auctions, so I am off on another set
 These cards were listed in groups of two, and I paid $45 for each lot (plus buyers premium and shipping). Not sure how great of a deal I got, but I really like them, and they appear to be in line with my habit of trying to pay 10% of NM "book" or less. Larry
