Recently added this 1914 single signed Buck Herzog ball. The inscription is to Harry Stephens, the Reds club secretary, who I believe played a large role in bringing Herzog to Cincinnati as player-manager.

There is another notation on the ball that is mostly non-decipherable (Begins "The first...") and the score "Cincie 10 - Chicago 1", along withe the date "April 14, 1914", which likely makes this a game ball from opening day at Redland Field and Buck Herzog's first game as manager.

Default Two Redlegs Pennants

One is the 1950's and the other a 1970 scroll. I am having trouble bringing the pictures here.

Default 1869-70 Red stocking cdv

A very young Cal Mcvey In his Cincinnati Red Stocking uniform. Shown before in 19th century thread, hope it is ok here. There are a few team photos of this team, but I am only aware of 2 individuals in uniform, and hope some one in This thread might know of others.

Default Vander Meer 2nd No Hitter Stub

Thought I would place this here as opposed to the June pickups. This 2nd no hitter/first Ebbets Field night game stub has been on my most wanted list for longer than I care to remember. What has always amazed me about these is that even though almost 39,000 fans were in the stands in Brooklyn that night, just how few of these have seemed to have survived.
