Probably my favorite memorabilia acquisition in 2017 came from a guy who knew someone who worked for the sign company that manufactured the Orioles' HOF signage at Camden Yards...At one point about 7-8 years ago, the Orioles wanted to make all the signs larger, so they took down the old ones and produced new ones...This guy had the Cal Ripken Jr. sign that sat in his son's room and now that the kid is out of college, they were cleaning out his room & offered it on Craigslist:

Here is how the display looks now at Camden Yards (if you look closely, they changed Cal's picture when they made the new sign):

That's really neat - I designed the original HoF plaques (and most of the other graphics from the stadium logo and usher uniforms to the scoreboard clock and tickets) at Oriole Park back in 1991-93

As an Orioles fan I really like the Boog jersey and the Ripken sign; great pieces guys.

My favorite pickup this year was a gift from a hobby friend (Thanks Scott!).

Great Pirates jersey. It would be tougher to find a more quintessential Pirates player than Frankie Gustine.

Default my first Spalding trophy

I picked up my 1st Spalding trophy in March of 2017 from a local antiques dealer. The Spalding flat top helmet was an antique show find over the summer.
