It's probably a Black Lenox. Doesn't look too suspicious to me personally. If the OP would take a pic/scan of the back next to a Tolstoi or Old Mill back, we could easily see if it's brown or black.

I'm no expert, but your scanner doesn't seem to pick up the color black very well.

Looks like it's black. Kind of figured it was a pic/scan issue.

These were actually photos I took, not scans. But I would be inclined to agree with you about the lack of black. The curious part is the threads on the red bag are black and come across as black.
