Cavarretta and Grimm are correct. Lane Tech is a high school near Wrigley Field. Cavarretta attended the school, signed with the Cubs right after graduation and immediately played for the Cubs. Grimm was his manager.

Thanks for the help,I'm glad I asked.Obviously,I had one wrong.Charlie Grimm surprised me,I thought both players would have been former Lane Tech students.Thanks again !!
