Up for your consideration is quite possibly one of the most unique Jackie Robinson artifacts to ever make it's way to the market.

This vivid green 5 x 8.25 inch Wilson No. A349 scorebook is Jam Packed with 13 professionally and meticulously scored Brooklyn Dodger games and came from a Brooklyn Dodgers sports writer.

While containing quite possibly the biggest Jackie Robinson milestones in history.... his 1st Major League hit, it also comes scored for his final game played before being named rookie of the year.

Included are the following games....

April 12th 1947 Vs. New York Yankees

This was the young Jackie Robinson’s 2nd career game at Ebbets Field as well as his second ever start at first base. It was on this day that he collected his first ever major league hit.

This game alone is truly a iconic moment in the world of sports and came just days before Robinson made his regular season debut against the Braves.

September 11th 1947 vs. St. Louis Cardinals

This game is most notable for the altercation between Robinson and Gargiola at home plate after Gargiola spiked Robinson while running out a double play in the previous. This was the third time Robinson was spiked in the series.

What makes this game even more special however is the fact that this was the last game Jackie Robinson played before being crowned 1947 National League Rookie Of The Year.

September 20th 1947 vs. Boston Braves

The Brooklyn Dodgers could have clinched the pennant with a win in this game, however Johnny Sain shut them down and their pennant win would have to wait for later that season

April 17th 1947 vs. New York Yankees

The Brooklyn Dodgers even their exhibition series with the Yankees with a 5-2 win.

April 24th 1948 vs. Philadelphia Phillies

The Brooklyn Dodgers won this game 11-4, however the Phillies scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning of this game without a single hit. 3 different Brooklyn pitchers combined for 7 walks in the inning.

April 30th 1947 vs Philadelphia Phillies

Brooklyn Dodgers Defeat the Phillies yet again.

May 1st 1948 vs. Philadelphia Phillies

The Brooklyn Dodgers win this game 2-1 behind 2 Jackie Robinson RBI’s

May 15th 1948 vs. Boston Braves

Warren Spahn slams the door on Brooklyn with a complete game 4 hit shutout to earn his 31st career win.

May 22nd 1948 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

The Brooklyn Dodgers lose this game 3-1 making it their 6th straight loss.

May 23rd 1948 vs. Cincinnati Reds

The Brooklyn Dodgers drop their 7th straight game by losing 6-5 to the Reds.

June 19th 1948 vs. Chicago Cubs

The Brooklyn Dodgers drop another game, this time losing to the Chicago Cubs 5-2.

July 3rd 1948 vs. New York Giants

In his 4th career game, Roy Campanella hits hit 1st career triple in his second consecutive 3 hit game. He led the Brooklyn Dodgers to a 7-5 victory. Buddy Kerr was hit in the head with a Roy Campanella Throw while attempting to steal and was carried from the field unconscious and remained that way until revived in the clubhouse several minutes later.

July 6th 1948 vs. Philadelphia Phillies

The Brooklyn Dodgers win 5-0 behind a George Shuba 2 Run Bomb.


This scorebook is truly one of a kind and contains some of this most historic moments in baseball history.
