Potential very interesting experiment with t206 Plank

i believe SGC does generally cut its inner pieces to fit the card type the case holds; I think I was told this sometime back and the purpose was presentation (better framing than standard casing), but I am sure there are folks here who know better than I.

Right they cut the gasket for card type but in this case did they cut it for this specific card? For instance look at this card, I'd say the sum of the top and bottom borders are equal to or slightly more than the REA Plank yet there is a lot of extra room at the top of the gasket.

Yes, they will often cut the gasket specifically to fit and protect the card inside. Here's a good example:

Look back at the PSA 6MC from REA a few years ago... I think maybe the same card.

You are correct... It is the same card as the PSA 6 MC that sold in REA 2012.
