Will Flickr allow me to rotate my pics? I recently downloaded all the images on my cell phone to my desktop and all 384 showed up rotated 90 degrees rotated. My pc won't allow me to rotate them back and am also unable to use Paint to rotate them.

I'm pretty happy with image event, $25/year. Here's mine:

I agree with Steve. Imageevent is great. I haven't tried Flickr, but I don't like that the thumbnails are square. Photobucket, meanwhile, looks truly awful. Here's my site ...

Curious if there are any advantages to ImageEvent over Collector Focus, which is free. CF isn't perfect but seems like a similar layout to ImageEvent.

I went with Flickr (link in my signature) and am happy that I did. It looks slick, is simple to use once you take a few minutes to figure it out, it has a ton of free space, and it displays the images at larger sizes and allows you to zoom in on them more than any other site that I have seen. Flickr also has the option to make individual photos public, shared among only your friends, or private so that only you can see them. The only negative is the square thumbnail images, but they are only square on the album gallery page (i.e., the photo you pick to be the cover of each album) - when you enter an album it displays the full thumbnail.

another vote for imageevent. See my site in my signature line.

I have hidden folders for my own personal stuff and then public folders for your viewing pleasure. I can customize many things and it feels like a website. I pay a little more to get unlimited storage but used the basic plan for many, many years until I finally ran out of space. Most people don't know this, but if you click a photo on imageveent, once the photo appears on your screen, you can select "Medium" or "Original" on the bottom. I believe "Medium" is the default, but if you want to see something really closely, all you have to do is click "Original" and the full super-sized image shows up on the screen.

Also, when posting an image on Net54 or ebay, they have a spot for owners to easily grab the URL and paste into the message board. I assume the other sites have this as well, but it's pretty easy on imageevent. They give you three different sizes to choose from depending on what you're trying to do or based on the image size. For instance, I use "websize" for almost anything I post on here. You can also do "icon" size or simply the original size...

and to a previous post, it's easy to move images from one folder to another and also to rotate a picture. However, when the image is rotated, it will change the file name, so be aware if you have a link to it on Net54 or elsewhere.

My only gripe is that my work computer blocks everything related to any of these websites (flickr, imageevent, etc.).

I seem to have become the de facto spokesman for flickr, so here goes:
When you are looking at your pic, check the lower right part of the page and you will find an "edit" graphic. Click there and it will give you a "rotate" option with three choices represented visually - 90% CW, 90% CCW, or 180%. Click on the one that works for you and then hit the OK (or whatever it says) button. Dat's it.
