What the population numbers don't tell - how many have been resubmits that boost the pops? Then how many have really nice centering. How many have nice registration. How many are crease free (minimum EX 5)? How many are we now really left with? Who knows, but not that many.

Either way, congrats on a nice card, and hopefully the price will continue to rise. (I think threads like this certainly can't hurt in that capacity.) |

Pop numbers for the green cobby are tougher to determine due to SGC's pop report but my best combined guess is;
Green Cobb - 1252 '52 Mantle - 1955 Quote:
Nice registration - check! Crease and wrinkle free - check! But not minimum EX 5 ![]() Not as cool as Jeff's miscut - check! |

There is a PSA 7 right now in Memory Lane. Let's guess what that will go for. I'm thinking $48K.

Memory Lane Cobbs-
Green Port 7- $67k Red Port 7- $35k Bat on 8- $66k Bat off 7- $29k Some incredible prices in the auction last night...The HOF T206's especially (mostly 7's & 8's), went for insane numbers. Last edited by MVSNYC; 10-15-2017 at 06:38 AM. |

Who knows what the Memory Lane 7 will end at. The image/registration on this example is quite hideous though in my opinion.

I am looking to scoop up all the 1915 Cobb Cracker Jacks in PSA 1 for $800 that I can as well as 1915 Matty CJs for $225 and WaJo Cracker Jacks for $225 -- since that is what SMR says they go for. The minor Hall of Famers for $30 sure seem like a nice deal as well on the 1915 Cracker Jacks, according to SMR.

Not all Cobbs were created equal. Seems like 150 series examples are a bolder, deeper green...and crisper clarity, right? Even the PSA 7 Cobb Bat Off in ML seems to have registration/clarity issues. Last edited by MVSNYC; 09-28-2017 at 09:56 AM. |

Yes. I've noticed the same thing regarding Planks: the 150 Series is a deeper blue.
